A tax adviser for safe and efficient operations
Serbian tax law changes less in its rates than in how it is enforced: e-invoicing, electronic VAT records and automatic data matching mean the Tax Administration sees errors immediately. Our tax advisory focuses on getting positions right upfront, documenting them, and defending them if questioned.
What we advise on
- Corporate income tax — tax balance, tax credits and incentives, advance payments, tax base adjustments.
- VAT — registration, place of supply, reverse charge, refunds, e-invoicing (SEF) and electronic records.
- Withholding tax on payments to non-residents and application of double tax treaties, including certificates of residence.
- Transfer pricing — see our dedicated transfer pricing page.
- Personal taxes for expatriates and management: residence, income tax, social contributions.
- Tax due diligence on acquisitions and tax structuring of investments into Serbia.
- Tax audit support — preparation, representation and appeals.
Key taxes at a glance

Frequently asked questions
Can you represent us in a Serbian tax audit?
Yes. We prepare documentation, attend the audit, respond to requests and draft objections and appeals where needed.
How do we apply a double tax treaty to payments abroad?
The treaty rate applies only if you hold a certificate of residence of the foreign recipient before payment, together with proof of beneficial ownership. Certificates obtained afterwards do not help, which is the most common finding in audits of exporters.
How do you price tax advisory?
Every question and every company is specific, so we have no price list. After a free initial discussion we quote per engagement or as a monthly retainer, with no obligation.
