Accounting for companies and foreign subsidiaries
We keep books and prepare financial statements for Serbian companies and subsidiaries of international groups, under Serbian regulations, IFRS and IFRS for SMEs. Because we are an audit firm, we know what a reviewer will look for — and we set up your accounting so there are no surprises at year end.
Note: for clients we audit, independence rules do not allow us to also keep the books. We offer accounting to companies audited by others, or not subject to audit.
What we do
- Bookkeeping and VAT compliance, including e-invoicing (SEF) and electronic VAT records.
- Payroll and employment-related taxes and contributions.
- Preparation of annual financial statements under Serbian regulations and IFRS / IFRS for SMEs, and filing with the Business Registers Agency.
- Monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting packages under the parent's policies, in English.
- Accounting policies, manuals and chart-of-account design.
- Advice on complex accounting questions: revenue recognition, leases, impairment, consolidation, deferred tax.
- Review and clean-up of existing books before an audit, due diligence or sale.
Who we work with
Subsidiaries of foreign groups that need reliable local accounting and group reporting; Serbian SMEs that have outgrown a basic bookkeeper; companies preparing for their first audit, a bank facility or an investor; and start-ups that want their accounting right from day one.
Taking over your books
- Review of current state — books, filings, open items and systems.
- Transition plan with a cut-off date and a checklist of what we need.
- Handover coordinated with your previous accountant; usually two to three weeks.
- Monthly rhythm — closing, reports and a short call with you.
Frequently asked questions
Do you prepare IFRS financial statements for a foreign parent?
Yes. We prepare statutory statements under Serbian regulations and reporting packages under the parent's framework (IFRS, US GAAP, HGB), with reconciliations between the two, in English.
Can you take over our books mid-year?
Yes, at any time. A coordinated handover with the previous accountant typically takes two to three weeks.
How do you price accounting services?
Every company is specific — number of documents, employees, VAT status and type of bookkeeping — so we have no price list. We quote after a free review of your business and volume, as a fixed monthly fee with no surprises.
